Youth of all skill levels and abilities will have a unique way to express themselves as they are taught empowerment and self-discipline through our Youth Self-Defense Empowerment program. The program is a hybrid of Jiu-Jitsu and Kickboxing modified to reach the different age ranges in the class. The classes begin with the building blocks that are needed to teach the fundamentals of Jiu-Jitsu and Kickboxing.
Our BJJ classes are lead by Professor Dan Berry, a Black Belt under Professor Pedro Sauer. Professor Berry puts a heavy emphasis on the self-defense application of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and holds Black Belts in several other martial arts.
The Grappling classes are founded on the TRICOM Ground SERE module which focuses on the fundamentals in positioning, defense, control and submissions. Each class starts with dynamic warm-ups leading into technical instruction and reinforced with grappling flow drills.
Our FMA programs focus on the art of Pekiti-Tirsia Kali, one of the most well known and respected martial arts to have spread to the world from the Philippines. The art places a heavy emphasis on stick and blade fighting, with empty-hand subsystems of striking, trapping and joint-manipulations to complement.
